  • Is it possible to send luggage ahead via courier service?
    Yes. We accept luggage up to three days ahead of your scheduled check-in date. When sending luggage in advance, please be sure to clearly write your planned check-in date and the name in which the reservation was made (If an accompanying guest also wishes to send luggage, please write both the name in which the reservation was made and the name of the accompanying guest). Example: (1) Address: Front Desk, Sky cucule Ishigakijima, Arakawa 23, Ishigaki City, Okinawa 907-0024 (2) Name: XX XX, Check-in date: DAY MONTH
  • Is it possible to send luggage from a guest room?
    Yes. The front desk can arrange payment-on-delivery shipment of luggage. Guests are requested to prepare their own packing materials (carboard box, etc.) themselves.
  • Is it possible to share a bed?
    Yes, for pre-school age children. The number of sharing children that can be accommodated varies from room to room. Please inquire directly for further information.
  • Can I bring my pet with me?
    No, we do not accept pets.
  • Are your rooms available for long stays?
  • Is it possible to change the number of people after making a reservation?
  • About checking in
    When you arrive, please come to the guest house reception counter on the ground floor.
  • What are check-in / check-out times?
    You can check-in any time between 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm. Check-out time is 10:00 am. Please contact us in advance if you wish to check-in after 10:00 pm. Your reservation may be cancelled if we do not hear from you before 10:00 pm. * If your accommodation plan specifies different check-in/check-out times to those noted above, then your accommodation plan takes priority.
  • Is it possible to store luggage before check-in and after check-out?
    Yes, we can look after your luggage before check-in or after check-out. Also, if you plan on going to another hotel or another island for a short stay, and have made a reservation to return to our hotel afterwards for a further stay, we will be happy to store any luggage for you while you are away.
  • Can I check-in early, or check-out late?
    Early check-in / late check-out are possible, but incur an extra charge. Depending on the situation on the day it may not be possible to respond to requests, and we will endeavor to let you know one day in advance whether early check-in or late check-out will be possible.
  • Is the facility open 24 hours?
    Yes, the facility is open and accessible 24 hours a day.
  • What are the front desk / telephone reception times?
    The front desk operates from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. Outside these times there are no staff on the front desk (except in case of emergency).
  • Can I connect to the internet?
    All rooms have free Wi-Fi available.
  • Can I request the room to be cleaned, or have the sheets and towels changed?
    Rooms are cleaned every three days for stays of 4 nights or more. Towels for the number of days until the next cleaning day are placed in guest rooms in advance. If you require towels to be changed or need trash cans emptying, please contact the front desk on the ground floor. (Housekeeping requests can only be dealt with in the morning.)
  • Is there somewhere I can store my valuables?
    There is a safety box available for you to use.
  • Entry of people into guest rooms other than guests with reservations
    Guests other than those with reservations can enter guest rooms at an extra charge. Please contact the front desk in advance and ensure that your guest informs the front desk upon arrival and departure from the guest room. * Each additional guest must be registered (name and contact details) in the visitor’s book. (Usage charge: JPY2,000 (incl. tax) / person; Usage time: Until 10:00 pm). * After 10:00 pm the guest will be deemed to be an extra overnight guest and one night’s accommodation fee will be charged.   • About payment
    At our hotel we use a pre-payment system. With the exception of reservations made directly via our website, all payments are settled in advance. All major credit cards are accepted. (excl. Edy and debit cards)
  • Can I use credit card / Edy / debit card for payment?
    We accept all major credit cards, but do not accept Edy and debit cards.
  • Can I settle my bill at check-out?
    We are sorry, but at our hotel we use a pre-payment system. Also, with the exception of reservations made directly via our website, all payments are settled in advance.
  • Is it possible to make external and international calls from my room?
    Our guest rooms do not have telephones.
  • Is there loungewear/pajamas in the guest rooms?
    There is two-piece loungewear available in the guest rooms.
  • About the toilets in guest rooms
    All guest rooms are equipped with a Washlet toilet.
  • Do you have barrier free rooms?
    Unfortunately we do not have barrier free rooms.
  • What facilities and amenities are available in guest rooms?

  • Is it possible to request additional amenity items?
    Amenity items can be replenished only on cleaning days. If you need additional items on days other than cleaning day, they are available for purchase at the front desk on the ground floor.
  • Can I hang out washing on the veranda?
    Yes. There is also a washer-dryer in your room.
  • Can I let off fireworks on my terrace?
    Use or starting of any kind of fire or pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited on terraces.
  • Are there condiments and seasonings available in rooms?
    No condiments or seasonings are placed in rooms. Please bring with you any seasonings you think you may require.
  • Do you have an ice machine?
    In Sky PentHouse, Ocean Living,Ryukyu Living, and Superior Double rooms there is a refrigerator with a built-in ice maker. In Standard rooms you can make ice cubes using the ice tray provided.
  • Is there a smoking space available?
    All our rooms are strictly smoke-free. It is possible to smoke on the veranda.
  • Are there sea views from the guest rooms?
    Yes, you can see the sea from your room.
  • Tell me about how to use the car park.
    For Sky PentHouse there is a dedicated parking space available free of charge. For all other rooms parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis or by advance reservation. (700 yen per vehicle per night)
  • Can I use the car park before check-in and after check-out?
    We regret that the car park is only available for use during your stay, not before or after.
  • Is it possible to park large vehicles?
    Yes. We can accommodate up to large mini-van-type vehicles (e.g. Toyota Alphard)
  • Do you provide any items for rental?
    We have beach towels available for rental.
  • Do you have any children’s items available for rental?
    We do not have any children’s items for rental.
  • Can I use a personal computer and printer?
    Guests bringing their own computer and printer are welcome to use them. We do not provide computers or printers in our rooms.
  • Do you provide a laundry service?
    Although we do not provide a laundry service, please feel free to use the washer-dryer available in your room.
  • Do you provide room service?
    We do not provide room service. We provide welcome water for all guests (excluding accompanying children), and in Sky PentHouse a variety of welcome drinks are available.
  • Tell me about access to your hotel.
    We are about a 10 minute-walk from Ishigaki Inter-island Terminal.
  • Do you provide a transfer service?
    We regret that we do not provide a transfer service.
  • Are there supermarkets, convenience stores and pharmacies nearby?
    Yes. There is a convenience store just one minute’s walk away, and the entertainment district (Misakicho) is within walking distance.
  • Is there a hospital nearby?
    There is a clinic a two minute-walk away, and an ENT clinic a 10-minute walk away. The general hospital (Okinawa Prefectural Yaeyama Hospital) is approximately 10 minutes (4km) away by car.
  • Is there a beach nearby?
    The closest beach for leisure and swimming is 10-15 minutes (approx. 4 – 5 km) by car.
  • About cancellation
    Cancellation charges are incurred from seven days before your planned arrival day. (From 4 to 7 days before arrival: 50%, from the day before to 3 days before arrival: 80%, day of arrival: 100%)
  • Are there vending machines at your hotel?
    There are no vending machines on the property. You can purchase mineral water at the front desk, and a convenience store is located about one minute’s walk away.
  • Is there space to park bicycles?
    There is outdoor space where it is possible to park bicycles.
  • About forgotten items
    We will return any forgotten items to you using payment-on-delivery courier service.
  • Can minors stay at your hotel unaccompanied?
    Anyone of high school age and above is welcome to stay on their own. However, if a minor (under 20 years of age) stays unaccompanied, they must bring a letter of permission from their parent/legal guardian.
